Josh, BS, MPT
Joshua Holmes is the owner and clinical director of Achieve Results Physical Therapy. Joshua was born and raised in Rochester, MN and his extended family has resided here for 3 generations. He went to high school at John Marshall, and was a three-season athlete who participated in football, wrestling and tennis. He went on to study sports science at St. Olaf and graduated with a Bachelor of science degree. After college, he worked as a physical therapy aide at Hiawatha Homes and a camp counselor at Camp Courage. Joshua completed his Master’s degree in physical therapy at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences. After graduate school, he pursued and completed a certification as a Mulligan Practitioner, of which, he is proud to be one of 4 certified practitioners within the state of Minnesota.
Joshua enjoys spending time with his family. He is married and has three children. Joshua is a cancer survivor (5 years and counting) and understands how difficult life becomes when dealing with physical pain. His cancer experience, although difficult, allowed him the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of his patient’s needs, making him an extraordinary care giver. Joshua enjoys life, his patient’s and spending time with his family. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, playing sports, shooting trap, attending his children’s activities and camping. He is most often found caring for his patients, making them smile, and helping them return to life without pain.

Katie was born and raised in Downers Grove, Illinois (a suburb of Chicago) in a large family of eight. She and her five siblings attended Timothy Christian School from kindergarten through senior high. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at Olivet Nazarene University as well as played collegiate soccer. Katie holds a PhD in Physical Therapy from Concordia University of Wisconsin. She recently relocated to Rochester in June of 2016 and married her husband, John, in September of 2016.
Katie has worked as a PT in a variety of outpatient settings including orthopedic and neurological therapies, fall prevention, and aquatic therapy. She especially enjoys treating orthopedic sport injuries, post-surgical therapy, chronic pain, and low back/pelvic dysfunction. Her goal is to get people back to doing and enjoying the activities they love without pain. She has pursued and completed additional training in aquatic and manual therapy interventions.
Katie and John are very active in the Rochester community. Their interests include being youth leaders at their church and playing soccer together on co-ed teams. Katie also enjoys playing basketball, running, rollerblading, hiking, swimming, watching the Packers, playing board games, baking and spending time with family and friends.
Katie is a fabulous therapist who cares greatly for her patients and their well-being. Her optimism is contagious and her personality is engaging. She is a wonderful addition to our family at Achieve Results Physical Therapy. She and Josh enjoy creating a team approach to therapy building upon each other’s’ strengths.
Brittany, AS, Physical Therapist Assistant
Brittany is a Physical Therapist Assistant at Achieve Results Physical Therapy. Brittany graduated with honors from Clarkson College in Omaha, Nebraska. For the last seven years, Brittany worked at an outpatient orthopedic clinic in Lincoln, Nebraska. She and her husband recently moved to Rochester, MN for her husband’s medical residency at the Mayo Clinic. Brittany’s hobbies include running, biking, sand volleyball, baking and being active in her church. Her favorite part about working at Achieve Results is the sense of community amongst the patients and her co-workers. Her greatest satisfaction at work is helping patients set and attain their goal’s. Brittany’s professionalism, coupled with her kind smile, work ethic, and skills set strengthens the care team at Achieve Results Physical Therapy.
Sue is the Patient Account Specialist at Achieve Results PT. Sue was born and raised in the Rochester area. She attended and graduated from John Marshall high school, Rochester Community College and Winona State University. Sue worked as a bookkeeper for 36 years prior to joining the Achieve Results PT team. Sue also worked as a patient insurance liason in a hospital setting. Some of Sue’s favorite hobbies include going to her dad’s pond on his farm, vacationing with friends, quilting, painting, and crafting. Sue’s ability to make insurance, billing and bookkeeping fun is a gift. Sue’s favorite part of working at Achieve Results PT is the warm, comfortable atmosphere, the caring and dedicated team of people….and her new corner office with a window. She is proud to work within a family run business and believes Achieve Results PT provides exceptional one on one care. Sue goes above and beyond to make sure patients are well-informed about the financial processes in the office. She enjoys interacting with patients and laughter is often heard coming from her office.
Cassie is the receptionist at Achieve Results PT. Cassie was born and raised in Rochester, MN on a hobby farm in town. Cassie is a John Marshall high school alumni and graduated from the University of Wisconsin River Falls with a degree in Animal Science. Cassie’s hobbies include spending time with animals, singing with friends, and coaching gymnastics. Her favorite part about working at Achieve Results is engaging with others and creating a truly warm experience for all patients
